What the Bundle Covers

This bundle can be added to an eligible plan at an additional cost. The benefits that are included in this optional bundle are:

Trip Cancellation
- Adds covered reasons:
  - mechanical breakdown/equipment failure of the air common carrier you are traveling on that causes a cancellation or delay of you/your traveling companion's travel for at least 12 hours, provided no alternative travel arrangements were available
  - mandated shutdown by local government authorities of an airport or air traffic control system resulting in complete cessation of services for at least 12 hours (does not apply for terrorism or act of war)
  - shutdown of the air traffic control system or an airport due to fire or power outage from which you are scheduled to depart or make a connection, resulting in complete cessation of services for at least 12 hours (does not apply for terrorism or act of war)
Trip Interruption
- Adds covered reasons:
  - mechanical breakdown/equipment failure of the air common carrier you are traveling on that causes a cancellation or delay of you/your traveling companion's travel for at least 12 hours
  - mandated shutdown by local government authorities of an airport or air traffic control system resulting in complete cessation of services for at least 12 hours (does not apply for terrorism or act of war)
  - shutdown of the air traffic control system or an airport due to fire or power outage from which you are scheduled to depart or make a connection, resulting in complete cessation of services for at least 12 hours (does not apply for terrorism or act of war)
Change Fee
Frequent Traveler Reward
- If you purchased travel arrangements with frequent traveler rewards, and you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason, we will reimburse you for the cost charged to re-deposit frequent traveler reward(s) into your traveler/member account
Travel Inconvenience
- Offers reimbursement due to a covered inconvenience during the trip.
