Tropical Storm Karen is moving slowly northwest across the southeastern Caribbean Sea. Monday’s early morning track shows Karen is expected to pass near or over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands Tuesday as a tropical storm, with maximum sustained winds at 40 mph.
Tropical Storm Jerry has sustained winds of 65 miles per hour and gusts up to 75 mph. Jerry is expected to hit Bermuda on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Residents in these areas along with any one traveling to these areas should continue to monitor the progress of both storms and ensure that they have their hurricane plan in place. We will continue to follow both Tropical Storm Jerry and Karen and update our travelers with any travel protection coverage details.
