WHAT IS CANCEL FOR ANY REASON (CFAR)?

No one looks forward to canceling a trip, but sometimes it is necessary. Cancel for Any Reason is a benefit that allows you to cancel your trip regardless of the reason. With the benefit, you may be eligible for up to 75% reimbursement of your pre-paid, non-refundable trip costs.*

The benefit means what it says. You can cancel for ANY reason.

Requires your reason for cancelling to be a covered reason under the Trip Cancellation benefit.
Covered reasons are eligible for up to 100% reimbursement of pre-paid, non-refundable trip costs.

Offers the Optional Cancel for Any Reason benefit.
The benefit allows you to cancel your trip regardless of the reason not otherwise covered by the plan.
You can be reimbursed for up to 75% of your non-refundable trip costs.

CFAR ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible you must:

Purchase a Worldwide Trip Protector plan or Annual Multi-Trip Protector plan within 21 days of the date your first trip payment or deposit is received by your trip supplier.
Insure full cost of any subsequent arrangements added to your trip within 21 days of the date of your payment for any such subsequent travel arrangements.
Cancel the trip no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure date.

Note: CFAR is not available for residents of New York State.
